Lori-Ann Cyr is co-founder and CEO of Diversis inc. Instructor and project manager, she’s given university courses in the United States in the field of multicultural education, trained groups of young international interns and assisted several governments and private and public organizations in cross-cultural and immigration management. She travelled for business in over 25 countries. Lori-Ann has worked on immigration related issue for more than 15 years. Over the years, she specialized in economic immigration, rural immigration, Francophone immigration in minority language communities and in the delivery of cross-cultural workshops.
Lori-Ann was chosen among 21 Young Leaders for the 21st Century in New Brunswick in 2005 and was recognized as one of the five most progressive entrepreneurs in Atlantic Canada by Progress business magazine. In 2011, her company, Diversis, received the Government of New Brunswick Innovation Award. In 2012, she earned the title of "Woman Entrepreneur of the Year" in her region. She is mother of two and stepmother of four. She has a Masters of Arts in Teaching French from the University of Maine at Orono, a Bachelor in Education from the University of Maine in Fort Kent. Lori-Ann is very active and sits on a number of boards for community groups in New Brunswick, including the Université de Moncton Board of Governors, the University of Maine at Fort Kent Board of Visitors and is a former Chair of the Conseil économique du Nouveau-Brunswick (CÉNB).
